Our story

Boxed Foods Company was opened in April 2004 by Kevin Best, Misty Rasche, and Don Harbison, three friends who were new to San Francisco but right at home in the hospitality space. Driven by an intense love of food and a healthy dose of humor, they created the cafe to be a comfortable spot where the food was just as tasty as it was fresh, healthy, and smartly sourced. A place where friendships were grown alongside the best sandwiches and salads in the city. The three partners, also known as Gourmet Provisions LLC, also own and operate B Restaurant & Bar in San Francisco's beautiful Yerba Buena Gardens.
